Reverend Margaret Eutsay
January 13, 1930 – November 7, 2025
Reverend Margaret Eutsay, beloved mother, grandmother and woman of faith was born on
January 13, 1930, in Westfield, New Jersey to the late Fannie and Robert Minor. She was
educated in the Pensgrove, NJ school system, later obtaining her GED and VNA
certification.
Throughout her career, Margaret dedicated many years of faithful service to others through
her employment with the Visiting Nurses Association of Boston and the St. James
Educational System. Her work reflected her deep compassion and commitment to
improving the lives of those around her.
She enjoyed traveling, spending quality time with her family, and serving in her community.
She was a proud member of the Salvation Army and Zeta Amicae, where she found joy and
fellowship among those who shared her spirit of giving.
Reverend Margaret faithfully served the Lord with unwavering devotion throughout her life.
Ordained into ministry by the late Reverend Sara Smedley, she grew in grace and wisdom
under her tutelage. Later in life, she moved her membership to Word of Life Tabernacle
Church, where she continued to serve faithfully under the leadership of Bishop Samuel
Darden and was revered as a loving and steadfast Church Mother. Her life was a true
reflection of her faith, her compassion, and her lifelong commitment to the work of God's
kingdom.
Margaret was united in marriage to the late Harrison W. Eutsay. Together, they built a strong
and loving family foundation rooted in faith, service, and love. She was preceded in death
by her daughter Deborah Wright her son Earl Eutsay and four siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughters Selena (Johnny), Peaches and
Crystal; her loving grandchildren Levence, Tarica (Phillip), Yushanna, Tamika, Lamar,
Jeffrey, Roscoe, Quinel, Jefferey ,Tanisha, Anthony, Antoinette, Shirelle, Travon (Brianna),
and Nevaeh; One spiritual grandchild Sonya Corbett; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and
four great-great-grandchildren; two siblings James Minor and Christine McCoullough
(David) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her legacy of love and faith
continues to live on through each of them.
She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her, and her memory will remain
an inspiration.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral services at Word of Life Tabernacle, 120 Amory Street, Boston, Friday, Nov 14 a viewing will take place from 10:00-11:00a.m. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
