7251 W. Lone Mountain Road Maggie's Life Journey Maggie Gaines was born on December 30, 1976 in Atlantic,
lowa to Sue and Rollin Gaines. She was the younger of two
daughters. Maggie was joined in holy matrimony to John J Steger.
While their nuptials ceased through divorce, they remained close
friends. Maggie had 6 children, daughters Giana and Isis and
boys, Julian, Jordan, Pharaoh, and Prince.
Maggie moved to Las Vegas when she was 5 years old. She was
very active as a youth playing softball and dancing. Her talent
landed her on the Varsity softball team during her freshman
high school year. She graduated from Bonanza High School in
1995 and attended college locally. Although Maggie worked for
the famous retailer Williams-Sonoma, she dedicated a lot of her
time to her non-profit Vegas Angels. Through Vegas Angels, she
fulfilled her passion to help locate missing and exploited children
in the Las Vegas Valley.
Maggie was a Vegas Golden Knights Superfan. She enjoyed
reading, crafting, event planning, baking, documentaries,
supporting the Innocence Project, and spending time with her
children, family, and friends. She was a devoted mother,
grandmother, and beloved friend.
Maggie was preceded in death by her mother Sue Gaines.
Maggie leaves to cherish her precious memories; her father
Rollin C Gaines, sister Katrina Kline, daughters, Gianna Alexander
and Isis Harvey, sons Julian and Jordan Alexander, Pharaoh, and
Prince Harvey, and many close friends.
"Her Journey's Just Begun"
Don't think of her as gone away
her journey's just begun
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much.

Hey momma I miss you everyday. I tell every person I meet about you and I cry about it way too often, you'd tell me I was being dramatic but I'm not I just didn't think I'd ever have to live this long without you. I miss calling you and oversharing when I don't feel well. I miss coming to your house to get away from mine. The kids miss you, we laugh about you often. They're doing well and I hope you can see how hard I'm trying to make sure they're happy and successful and GRADUATE! I only wish you were here to see it, you'd be proud of how well they're handling things. I love you and I wish you weren't gone.

Maggie I can´t even begin to write this without tearing up with how much I miss you. I thought of you today and how we would talk about our Netflix shows. Forever a part of me and always in my heart. We all miss you so much
