Margaret (Titi) was born on June 5, 1930, in Mesilla Park, NM, to Bernardino Rivera and Francisca Polanco Rivera. Margaret is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudy A. Garcia; her parents; and 3 sisters - Mannie Dossett (Don), Katherine Casados (Don), and Julie Maynez (Oscar).
Margaret is survived by her 3 sons - Andrew (Elaine), Santa Clarita, CA; James (Dawna), Winder, GA; and Karl John, Las Cruces; 5 grandchildren - Lauren, Michael (Layla), Alexandra Monteverde (Juan), Alicia Baron (Daniel), and Tyler; 9 great grandchildren; niece Deborah Lopez; close family friend Collette Chavez; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother, and a successful business woman. She was active with the Catholic Daughters and a Catholic Eucharistic Minister. She ran a children's nursery out of her home for many years. Her hobbies were playing bingo and playing slot machines. Thus, she and Rudy started a business organizing bus tours from El Paso, TX to Sandia Casino, Albuquerque, NM. They both loved to dance.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home in Las Cruces: Visitation - 9 AM, Rosary - 9:30 AM, Memorial Mass - 10 AM followed by Burial Service at Hillcrest Cemetery - 11:30 AM.
