Marge was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend to all. She worked as a Banking Representative for First National Bank in Toms River, as well as a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River, NJ.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Margaret (Sisko) Tavares.
Marge will be forever held in the hearts of her loving family; her beloved husband of 65 years Eugene Gavaletz, daughter Lori Gavaletz-Barr, daughter Lynne Gavaletz-Burke and her husband Kevin, and son Michael Gavaletz and his significant other Jeannine Alwell, her brother and sister-in-law Alfred and Ona Tavares, five grandchildren; Kenny, Lorraine, Michael, Jr., Julia, and Ava, and one great grandson Dante.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 2 to 6pm at the Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 10am at St. Joseph RC Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ. Interment will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd., Toms River, NJ. Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.carmonabolenfh.com.
