Margaret Hamrick Ellington Obituary

Nicknamed "The Bow Lady," she spent 42 years skillfully arranging flowers and ribbons at Duluth Salvage, a family business she co-founded with her husband, Huey Ellington.
Margaret was also a devoted member of Big Springs Church for 66 years, a church at which she also taught Sunday School classes. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, generosity, and dedication to her family and friends. She was married to her husband, Huey, for 66 wonderful years.
A loving mother, Margaret is survived by her three children: David (Alpharetta, GA), Beth (Alpharetta, GA), and John (New Holland, PA). She was a proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Essie Dove Hamrick and Matt Lee Hamrick, as well as five siblings.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ().
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on September 14, 2025 at Big Springs United Methodist Cemetery 2066 Sugar Pike Road, Woodstock, GA 30188. Family and friends are welcome.
Georgia Cremation in Duluth is assisting the family with arrangements.

Goodbye Margaret, we all love you. Once you made our daughter a dual purpose reef. A combo Christmas and Mardi Gra, just by changing a couple of colors. It is beautiful. May God bless you abundantly and have mercy on our mourning souls. Larry & Judy Harris
