Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but always near
Still loved, still missed, and very dear
Gaye Lynn Weaver, 72, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, died unexpectedly at her home on July 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Sherrill Glick, of Marcy, Ohio.
Born on August 27, 1953, Gaye is survived by her husband of 36 years, Raymond Weaver, her sisters Sue Costlow (Jack), and Jill Gerber. She is also survived by nephews Sam Costlow (Leila) and Jarrett Gerber, nieces Ashley Hendricks (Brent, Marcy, Nash) and Abby Koah (Brody, Roman), and special friend Alex. All held a special place in her heart
Gaye is also survived by her friends on Gaines Ferry Road. Many who were there through it all, and Gaye valued their friendship and considered them family
Gaye never met a stranger. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and compassion. Nothing made Gaye more happy than having a house full of people and a pool full of kids
Gaye had a kind and gentle spirit that will be remembered by all who knew her. With a flower in her hair, we can still hear her saying, "Honey, please."
Per Gaye's wishes, no services will be held. Donations in her memory can be made to Daydream Rescue, 3352 Roy Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30507, or simply plant a tree or flower.
RIP Gaye

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Ray (aka"Weave") and Gaye's entire family. Gaye was a beauty -inside and out. She was a shiny ray of light that gave so much of herself to help others. I have so many sweet memories of going to blues festivals in FL and GA with Gaye and Weave. We had a bunch of fun. Sending hugs and love.
