Cumberland, MD – Margaret "Micky" Elizabeth (Campbell) Hardman, 86, of Cumberland, MD, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at home.
Born June 24, 1936 in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Hardman was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Harden) Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Royce Hardman, Sr., her special son-in-law: M. Mark Blacker; and her sisters and brother: Mary Dolly, Minerva Barnett, Scott Barnett.
"Mickey" retired from Memorial Hospital. She attended Danville Community Church. She was a lifetime member of Bedford Road Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and also volunteered at Toys for Happiness. She enjoyed playing video games, going to bingo, and Rocky Gap. It meant so much to her when her family would visit.
Mickey is survived by her children: Susan Blacker; William Royce Hardman, Jr.; Mary Brown and husband Tim; Paula Schriever and husband Rick; her seven grandchildren: Arron Blacker; Shannon Mawyer and husband, Ralph; Michael Schell; Justin Blacker and wife, Carrie; Jesse Huff and wife, Heather; and Jake Huff and Emily Watkins; Keri Stains and husband Derrick and her 15 great grandchildren: Dayton, Anthony, Gracie, Jayce, Adlee, Wyatt, Kateland, Ralphie, Charlie, Emily, Jacob, Cecil, Floyd, Remington, and Clayton; and many special family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Ladies Auxiliary, BRVFD, 13200 Bedford Rd NE, Cumberland, MD 21502, or Toys for Happiness, 12604 Bedford Rd NE, Cumberland, MD 21502.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Bedford Road VFD, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. All are welcome to attend.
