Margaret Turner Hatcher

Margaret Turner Hatcher passed away peacefully in her home on December 6, 2025, at the age of 93. Margaret was born and raised in Louisiana and lived a life defined by strength, resilience, and devotion to her family. She was known for her honesty, perseverance, and unwavering commitment. Family was always at the center of her world, and she took great pride in caring for and supporting multiple generations. Margaret is survived by her three grandchildren, Anderson Lee III, Derek Lee, and Jean-Pierre Lee; her great-grandchildren, Shaun Pierre Gaudet and Nathan Pierre Lee; and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating Margaret's life on Friday, January 2, 2026, for 1:30 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, Louisiana 70126. Reverend Dr. Vernita Riley will officiate the service. A repass to follow at the home of Pierre Lee.
