She is survived by: her daughter, Pam Wright; two grandchildren, Bill (Sara) Wright and Cathy (Brian) Goodwin; four great grandchildren, Kaytlin Goodwin, Joshua Goodwin, Grace Wright, and Matthew Wright; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Leslie and Ova Sloan, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Hobert Hicks; and one brother, James Sloan.
Graveside services and burial will be Friday, July 1, 2022 at 12 noon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
