Margaret Klitz

Mrs. Artie Margaret Klitz of Winthrop, Arkansas, left this earth on Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born to Robert E. Lee Rich, Sr., and Susie V. Cobb Rich on December 1, 1937, and raised by her loving mama, Vertie Rich.
Margaret was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ in Winthrop. She enjoyed quilting, flowers, and taking care of the family graves at Pauley, but most of all, she loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters, her husband, Edward Lowell Klitz, Sr., three sons, Ed Klitz Jr, Dennis Klitz, and Kim Klitz, and one grandson, Andrew Klitz.
Margaret is survived by one brother, John (Sue)Rich, and Dala Klitz, wife of late son Kim Klitz. Four grandchildren, Clayton and April Klitz of Winthrop, Arkansas, Monica and R.J. Forrest of Winthrop, Arkansas, Chad and Courtney Klitz of Horatio, Arkansas, T.J. Klitz of Redwater, Texas. Four step-grandchildren, David Russell of Horatio, Arkansas, Jason and Kayla Russell of Delight, Arkansas, Jada and Chris Connelly from Midland, Texas, Tiffany and Jason Vanhoose of Horatio, Arkansas. Fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Pallbearers, Clayton Klitz, Chad Klitz, Trent Klitz, Caleb Klitz, Cason Klitz, Aiden Forrest and R.J. Forrest.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Klitz will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Pauley Cemetery Pavilion, Winthrop, Arkansas, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
