Calvin Klitz Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 23, 2024.
Calvin L. "Crummy" Klitz, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2024, in Minneapolis, MN. Calvin entered the world on an icy morning weighing only three pounds. He was sent to the Neo-Natal Center for 30 days until he gained some weight. From early on Calvin was affectionately known as Crummy. He graduated from St. Lawrence Seminary in Mount Calvary. He received a full scholarship to Concordia College in Fargo Moorehead receiving his bachelor's degree and went on to Carlisle School of Business receiving his masters. Crummy worked his first job at the Menominee Tribal Clinic with Jerry Waukau. Later in his career, he was the Vice President of HR at Bard Pharmaceuticals until recently he was the director at Abbott Pharmaceuticals. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, was a foodie, enjoyed eating out and spending time with his spoiled dog and companion, Codak. Crummy always looked his best and had extravagant shopping sprees. He was a social and outgoing man and made countless friends. Crummy was easy to talk to and had a bright happy presence when he walked in the room. Calvin will always be remembered for his selfie poses in sunglasses and his photos of all the delicious food he ate. We've couldn't have asked for a better son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, godparent or friend and will miss him every day. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Crummy is survived by his adoptive mother, Joan Delabreau, of Keshena, who was with him from the very beginning of his life; dog, Codak; brother, Keith (Natalie) Klitz, of Shawano, Richard (Valente) Delabreau, of San Antonio, TX, Darrel (Patricia) Delabreau, of Midway; special brother, Mike Cook, of MS; special grandmother, Rose Wayka, of Midway; aunts, Luanna Dickenson, of Keshena, Robin Maskewit and Sandra Jesko; nephews, Francis and Keith, Jr.; nieces, Caprice and Tiffany; cousins, Joleen White, Alegra Fowler, Alea Cox, Carey Wayka, Allden Payne, Kaske Fowler, Robert Webster, Chauncey Webster, Troy Webster, Dugan Webster, Bronson Webster, Greg Fowler, Keith Fowler, Bernard Fowler, Scott Fowler, Gordon Pocan, Cami and Nick; and godchildren, Cherissa Boyd and Trenton White; Aunt-in-laws, Ava Fowler and Fairyal Fowler. He is further survived by numerous friends in Georgia, Minneapolis, Chicago, and the Menominee Reservation.
Crummy is preceded in death by his parents, Andrea Klitz Webster and Casper Thompson; brother, Francis Delabreau; aunts, Joann, Clara, Verna, Shirley and Sr. Jeanette; uncles, Eugene, Sanford, Bernard, Leon, Albert, Calvin and Llewellyn; his cousins, Alvin Fish and Vincent Fish; his maternal grandparents, Marlene and Llewellyn Dickenson; his great-grandparents, Sanford and Louise Fowler.
A memorial mass of a Christian Burial will be held at noon on Wednesday December 4, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service.
