Margaret "Marge" Lazarz, age 90, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, in Carleton, Michigan.
Born on February 21, 1935, in Brownstown, Michigan, Marge lived a full and vibrant life rooted in family, faith and community. She graduated from Flat Rock High School in 1954 and went on to attend beauty school, graduating in 1969; beginning a lifelong appreciation for personal care and style.
Marge was a longtime member of Flat Rock First United Methodist Church, where she found spiritual connection and fellowship. Known for her candid nature and spirited personality, she brought energy and honesty to every room she entered. Her love for her family was unwavering - she especially treasured time spent during the holidays with those closest to her.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Timothy Lazarz and his wife Theresa; her grandson CJ Lazarz and his wife Veronica; and her great grandchildren Hayden, Juniper and Leonard. Marge also leaves behind her sisters-in-law Lynda, Jan and Kathy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Daryle; her parents; her brothers Bob, John, Henry and Mel; and her grandson Ryan Sterling.
Marge enjoyed an active social life. She was a proud member of a bowling league and loved traveling to new places. A card game always brought a smile to her face - especially when paired with good company. She also delighted in outings to the casino or dining at one of her favorite restaurants.
Her legacy lives through the generations of family who carry forward her strength, warmth and zest for life. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on May 10, 2025 at Bobcean Funeral Home, 26307 E. Huron River Drive, Flat Rock from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Funeral service will be officiated by Pastor J. Albert Barchue at 1:00 pm, with a procession to Michigan Memorial Cemetery to follow.
