Margaret Manocchio

Margaret Manocchio, age 92, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at Rose Court at Maris Grove.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Lewis and Gertrude (Doud) Gentry, Margaret was a longtime resident of the area. She spent the past seven years at Maris Grove in Glen Mills and had previously lived in Fox Hill Farm and Golf View Estates in Springfield.
A graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School, Class of 1951, Margaret dedicated her career to education as a schoolteacher for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Devoted to her Catholic faith, she was a faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Glen Mills.
Margaret enjoyed sewing, baking, crossword puzzles, cherished time with family, and took great joy in attending family gatherings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orlando Manocchio; her sister, Gertrude McDevitt, and brother, Louis Gentry. She is survived by her sisters, Terri Fitzpatrick and Marie (Jack) Liebsch; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA. Interment will be held privately.
