Judith Ault Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory - Souderton on Mar. 4, 2026.
Judith "Judy" Ann (Rahill) Ault, 76, of Souderton, Pennsylvania, formerly of Murrell's Inlet, South Carolina; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Judy was the beloved wife of the late David H. Ault, with whom she shared 14 years of marriage, and the late Donald G. pick Jr., with whom she shared 14 years of marriage. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Helen (Macatee) Rahill.

A proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia, Class of 1966, Judy built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work. She worked as a stockbroker in the Philadelphia area and later served as bookkeeper for the family business, Ault Construction, in Washington Court House, Ohio. She also lent her talents as a painter and wallpaperer with her brother Gene's business, Rahill Painting, in Flourtown, Pennsylvania.

Judy was a devoted sister, wife, mother, and grandmother whose love for her family was unwavering. She was a member of The Philadelphia Emerald Society and St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church.

A passionate Philadelphia sports fan, she faithfully cheered on the Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles. She found joy in music, playing chess, watching television, bird watching, and caring for animals, especially her beloved dogs and cats. Known for her strong work ethic, generosity, warmth, and wonderful sense of humor, Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judy is survived by her four children: David M. Ault and his wife, Maria, of Center Valley, PA; Michelle E. Raffaele and her husband, James III, of Telford, PA; Mark E. Ault and his wife, Mary, of Hatfield, PA; and Michael J. Ault of Souderton, PA. She is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren: Elena and Leah Ault; Tyler and Liam Raffaele; and Isabelle and Marky Ault.

Judy is further survived by her sisters, Kathleen "Kathy" Marchowsky of Philadelphia, PA, and Helen Edelman of Brandywood, DE; her brothers, William "Bill" Rahill and his wife, Lois "Loie," of Warminster, PA; Charles "Charlie" Rahill and his wife, Kathleen "Kathy," of Mesa, AZ; and Eugene "Gene" Rahill and his wife, Margaret "Peggy," of Flourtown, PA; as well as her sister-in-law, Jeanette Rahill of Philadelphia, PA.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husbands, David H. Ault and Donald G. Pick, Jr.; her brother, Leo Rahill; and her brothers-in-law, Walter "Walt" Marchowsky and Robert "Bob" Edelman.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Inurnment will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org) or the American Lung Association, PO Box 10, Essington, PA 19029 (www.lung.org/get-involved/ways-to-give).
