Ronald Ault

Ronald W. Ault, age 89, of Galion passed away Wednesday February 25, 2026 at his home.

Born April 5, 1936 in Marion, he was the son of the late Virgil and Orpha Ault. He married Audrey Abbott on May 29, 1955 and she preceded him in death on January 23, 2018.

Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from PPG in Crestline and also worked as a farmer. He was proud to live in the house that he built. He was a member of the Airstream Club and enjoyed traveling. He visited all 50 states and also spent time in the holy lands. He enjoyed bicycle riding and spending time as a father, grandfather, great grandfather and foster dad.

He is survived by his son Jeffrey R. Ault, grandchildren: Allison (Tony) Conn, Nathan (Amy) Ault and Alexander Ault, and great grandchildren: Austin and Piper Conn, and Kandace, Khloe, Karter, Hailee, Aubree, Shyanna, Cooper and Ariella Ault.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers Bob and Damon Ault, sister JoAnn Couts and daughter-in-law Delilah Ault.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday March 3, 2026 at Iberia Cemetery with military honors performed by the Galion/Crestline Military Veterans Burial Detail.
