Margaret "Mickey" Yvonne Measel

Margaret Yvonne Measel, affectionately known as “Mickey” of Almont, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 22, 2024. She was 86 years old. Born on March 16, 1938, Margaret grew up in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. Margaret formerly lived in Texas before permanently moving to Almont, where she resided for over thirty years.

Mickey was a very dedicated hairdresser for many years. After moving back to Almont she worked at Measel Sand and Gravel Company as the Office Manager.

She will be remembered as a hard working woman who never gave up. Mickey was a devoted loving mom and grandma.

Mickey is survived by her loving children Sherry Kreger, and Tom Hosner, a sister, Ruth Ann Dodd, as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, also nieces and nephews.

Margaret is preceded in death by her grandson, Shane Kreger, as well as her parents. Brother, Wayne Washburn, and Sisters, Linda Feys and Barbara Kratz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 11-1 pm, with a service beginning at 1:30, at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI.
