Margaret Faye (Stredic) Mitchell was born to Lloyd Edward Conner and Gussie Lee Stredic on November 17, 1952 in Boling, Texas.

She accepted God in her life as a little girl where she attended Sunday School and other church activities at Shiloh Baptist Church in Boling, Texas.

As a teenager, she moved to Alvin, Texas and joined Greater New Hope Baptist Church. She graduated from Alvin High School in 1971. Margaret married the love of her life, Albert Mitchell, July 25, 1971 and together they had one daughter, Andrea. They moved to Missouri City in 1984, while continuing to faithfully attend Greater New Hope Baptist Church, where she served as the church secretary until her death.

Margaret worked several jobs before retiring at Member's Choice Credit Union for 35 years.

Margaret loved cooking for the holidays, spending time with her family and shopping. She was a major supporter and pillar of the family and was well known for her potato salad. She was a devoted, daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, Godmother and friend to many. Her kindness, strength, and warmth, touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. She would be deeply missed by all who had the honor knowing her.

Margaret was proceeded in death by her parents Lloyd E Conner and Gussie Stredic-Robinson. Her aunts Essie Beatrice Archie-Tyson and Elena Edwards.

Margaret's memories will forever remain in the hearts of her devoted husband, Albert Mitchell of 55years; her daughter, Andrea Mitchell of Houston, TX; her siblings, Janice Watkins (Marc Sr) of Houston, TX; Ozzie Stredic of Alvin, TX; Ronnie Floyd (Linda) of Angelton, Tx; Tracy Floyd Sr. of Alvin, TX; Regina Stredic of Alvin, TX; Lloyd Conner Jr.; Lisa Boyd (Bobby); Lorraine Conner; Ledell Conner; Lionel Conner all from of Martinez, CA; her aunt Barbara Selvy of Concord, CA. A God-son, Tracy Floyd Jr. (Chelsea) of Dickinson, TX and God-daughter, Claire Peterson, Rosharon, TX. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
