Margaret Mixon Obituary

Margaret passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 22, 1940, in Louisville, Mississippi and was the daughter of the late Robert Brown and Gladys Brown.
Margaret graduated from the Mississippi College for Women with an associate's degree in business. She was employed by the Mississippi Vocational Rehabilitation Services as a secretary until her retirement. Margaret was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Mixon and by her sister, Patsy Griffin.
She is survived by one daughter, Robin Jones Blackley of Grenada; one granddaughter, Kimberly Parker of Atlanta, Georgia; and one step-daughter, Ann Collins of Grenada.
Mortimer National Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
