My deepest sympathies & prayers to Margaret's children. Margaret was a beautiful Belgian American woman and lived a long life of helping others. She shared much joy with her simple cheerfulness & hospitality. I will always remember stopping by to visit her (& Clarence before he passed) at their home farm in Brussels when I was back to visit my parents. They always had the most wonderful garden each summer.
We became close because she knew the Goffaux families in Belgium & Veronique Goffaux is my penpal. Best part was Margaret could still speak Belgian & communicate with the families. She could fill us all in on how they were doing.
The best thing is I share a birthday with Margaret and so we often connected around June 21 with a card or a phone call, and sometimes a visit. She will be dearly missed, but I will remember her each year when I celebrate my birthday. I will be celebrating Margaret too as always!
I am sure Jesus called her home with loving arms. Truly we were blessed to know such a beautiful Christian woman. She makes me proud of my Belgian heritage!
May God being Peace to you, her family.
