Margaret "Marnie" Murray, 73, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025. Born on October 27, 1951, in Buffalo, New York, Marnie carried with her a gentle spirit and a sparkling sense of humor that brightened the lives of all who knew her. The beloved daughter of the Arthur and Patricia Kane, Marnie grew up surrounded by her seven siblings: Gerry Klapp (Jim), Jeanette Thurn (Paul), Art Kane (Kim), Patrick Kane, Bob Kane (Val), Dolly (Late Joe) Huffnagle, and Tom Kane. Her early years in Buffalo were filled with laughter, close family bonds, and stories that highlighted her wit, quiet nature, and deep affection for those around her. In 1976, Margaret married the love of her life, Thomas H. Murray II. Together, they built a loving home and welcomed their son, Jason Murray (Beth), whose family brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Margaret and Thomas moved to Colorado in 1978, starting a new chapter that would lead to many cherished memories and friendships. Marnie spent the majority of her career at Teledyne Water Pik, where she was valued for her reliability and dedication until her retirement. Although she preferred the comfort of familiar faces and modest gatherings, her warmth was felt by all who worked alongside her. Coworkers and friends will always remember the subtle yet gleeful humor she would share, often taking people by surprise and leaving smiles in her wake. Deeply proud of her Irish heritage, Marnie nurtured a lifelong fascination with all things Irish. Her travels to Ireland stood out as some of her most cherished adventures, and she loved sharing stories and laughter inspired by those journeys. Though shy by nature, Marnie's rich stories and gentle heart endeared her to all. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Murray II. She is survived by her loving son, Jason Murray (Beth), her granddaughters Kieyesia (Sean) Conaway, Kryssa (Kyle) Bradley, Becca (Gavin) Taylor, great grandchildren, her devoted siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will dearly miss her gentle spirit. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas H. Murray II. A memorial service will be held to honor Marnie's life at 1:00 p.m. on September 5th at Vessey Funeral Services, 8760 6th Street, Wellington, Colorado. All who wish to celebrate her memory are welcome to attend.
