Margaret "Peg" Needham

On November 13, 2025, Margaret "Peg" Needham of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away peacefully with family present at Saint Mary's facility in Cherry Hill, NJ. She was a Loving sister to Dolores "Lori" Needham of Audubon, NJ, daughter of the Late Harry and Margaret Needham (nee Kenney). Also survived by her cousins: Robert Needham, Teresa McDyer (Needham) and Donald Needham. Peg grew up in West Philadelphia and attended Saint Rose of Lima grade school and went on to West Catholic Girls High School. Upon graduation, she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph congregation in Chestnut Hill, Pa. Peg taught at many Catholic schools in the Philadelphia area and at one point came to Cherry Hill, NJ to teach at the former Saint Peter Celestine grade school. After much contemplation she decided to leave the order. She continued with her passion in the field of education and became an administrator in Pemberton Township for many years. Her official title was Curriculum Coordinator for the Language Arts Department of all grades 1-12. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with family and friends Relatives and friends are invited Saturday November 22, 2025, to Christ the King Church 200 Windsor Ave. Haddonfield, NJ. Peg's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12PM. Private Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
