Margaret Ellen O'Day, age 76, of Walton, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on December 10, 2025. Born on August 4, 1949, in Belleville, Illinois.
Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Vernon O'Day; her mother, Mildred Medley; her sister, Donna E. Grandon; her brother, Thomas O'Day; and her sister, Robin O'Day. She is survived by her siblings, Jeanette Reese; her brother, Kenneth O'Day; her best friend, Sherry (Steve) Saunders; and a host of other family members and her friends at DHL, who will miss her dearly.
A talented artist, Ellen enjoyed teaching one-stroke painting and was passionate about creating beautiful plates, glasses, and acrylic landscapes and portraits. In addition to her artistry, she authored a book titled *I Was Bit by Tarzan's Monkey*. Ellen loved to immerse herself in mystery novels and enjoyed playing cards. As a beloved Nana to five grandchildren, she was a loving presence in their lives and cherished them as if they were her own.
