PATCH, Margaret

"Peggy," 93, formerly of Brandermill, Va., died on November 29, 2011 while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, Pa. Born in Roselle, N.J., Peggy was the daughter of the late Cliff and Irene Reeve. Surviving are a brother, Douglas Reeve of Arizona; daughters, Cathy Robinson of Bethlehem, Pa., and Penny Bunting of Lancaster, Pa.; four wonderful grandchildren and nine terrific great-grandchildren. A graduate of Douglas College, she taught school in Montclair, N.J., for many years before moving to Brandermill with her husband, Art Patch, who died in 2000. Peggy was a Girl Scout troop leader for 18 years and a volunteer in many community activities. An avid Bridge player, she also enjoyed tennis, sewing and many types of hand crafts. Peg was a member of The Brandermill Church and active in its service projects. A memorial service for her friends will be held 3 p.m. Friday, December 9, at The Brandermill Church, Brandermill, Va. The family service will be held December 3, in Nazareth, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Foundation, 1275 K Street NW, Suite 1050, Washington, D.C. 20005, alsa.org, 888-949-2577.
