Ron Patch Obituary

Ron Patch 73, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday July 5, 2025. He was born December 15, 1951 in Chester, Vermont the son of Arnold and June (Emery) Patch.
Ron was a lifelong Antiques Dealer in the area.
He wrote a weekly column in the Vermont Journal/Shopper, and had four books published on local history. He was a member for many years and Past President of the Chester Historical Society, being deeply interested and committed to the History of Chester.
Ron enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hiking and exploring cemeteries.
He is survived by his children; Carrie (Vince) Jewell, and Shawn (Paula) Patch, siblings Cheryl Patch, Amber Patch and Brian Patch, and grandchildren; Josie and Samantha Patch, and Ian and Evan Jewell.
He was predeceased by his parents, and sister Norma Lasonde.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield is assisting with arrangements.
