Virginia Patch Obituary
Born on August 5, 1927, in Detroit, Illinois, Virginia lived a life marked by Christian faith and family values. She especially loved taking care of her family, art, education, and singing in her church choir and with the Hendricks County Choral Club (also known as the Treblemakers).
Virginia is survived by her siblings: Nancy Staroba and Nathan Sloan. Her children: Howard Patch, Joe Patch (Patti Patch), Patricia Pitts (Jerry Pitts), Dan Patch, Donna Patch, and Paul Patch. Her 10 grandchildren: April, Eric, Glenn, Rachel, David, Sharlie, Dale, Tavia, Serena, and Abel; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Howard Patch and son, Scott Patch.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. (visitation) 2:00 p.m. (funeral) at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care-Avon, 641 N. County Rd. 1050 E. Indianpolis, IN 46237, with reception to follow at the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County-Zionsville Unit located at 1575 Mulberry St, Zionsville, IN 46077.
