Alice Patch Obituary
Alice Jane Patch was born in Wahpeton, ND to Alice and Bert Patch on April 1st 1946.
She was the 6th child of 14. Between her teenage years she had numerous jobs. In 1964 she met Sherman Taylor Sr. and married on April 7th 1964. After they moved to International Falls, MN, there they had 5 children. In 1982 they divorced. Alice lived a fun life with crocheting, singing, dancing, baking, crafting and spending time with grand kids.
She leaves behind three daughters, April Taylor of St. James, MN, LaVerna Aurand (James Deegan) of Int'l Falls, MN, Lorraine (Sam) Slifer of Int'l Falls, MN; seven sisters, Bertha, June, Carol, Sylvia, Beverly, Eileen and Arlene; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents Alice (Berg) and Bert Patch; two sons, Sherman Taylor Jr. and Sherwin Taylor; ex-husband, Sherman Taylor Sr.; four brothers, Jens, Rudolph, George and Ricki; two sisters, Lila, and Shirley.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at the VFW Post #2948 in International Falls on Saturday January 3, 2026
at 2:00 p.m.
