Lisa Moriarty Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sullivan-King Mortuary & Crematory - Anderson on Mar. 5, 2026.
Lisa Marie Moriarty, 56, wife of Edward "Eddie" F. Moriarty, III, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Springfield, Vermont, on February 15, 1970, she was the daughter of Wayne K. Popple and the late Margarite Alice Nason. She attended Manchester High School in Connecticut and took courses in nursing. For 25 years Lisa worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and secretary at Oconee Memorial Hospital and also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She also owned and operated her own antique store, Cottage Antiques and Vintage Wares. She loved traveling with her family to find one-of-a-kind pieces to share with the Townville community. Lisa could often be found volunteering and organizing community events, especially those involving the families and children of the Townville Fire Department #17. She was loved by many for her generosity and kind, loving spirit. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family.

In addition to her husband, Eddie, Lisa is survived by her son, Joseph Moriarty; siblings, Trish Sewell, Eric Popple, Terri Mayhew, and Crystal Nason; several loving aunts and uncles; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her nephew, Ronnie Nason; and her aunt, Barbara Mahew-Belatski.

A memorial service will be held at the Townville Fire Department #17 officiated by Rev. Greg Nix at a date and time to be announced. The family will be at the residence.
