Margaret "Peggy" Ann Periard, 80, of Cedar Lane, West Coxsackie, N.Y. entered into eternal rest on November 29, 2024.
Peggy was born on May 19th 1944 in Troy N.Y. daughter of the late Maynard Coonrad and Philomena Testo Coonrad. In furtherance of her desire to serve others, Peggy graduated Hudson Valley Community College and served briefly as an LPN.
Peggy was a dedicated and loving stay-at-home Mom and with her late husband and "soul mate" Nelson J. Periard, raised five children in Troy, N.Y. / West Coxsackie N.Y. In addition to her parents and husband, Peggy is predeceased by brothers Timothy and Raymond Coonrad. Survivors include five children; a foster daughter and their spouses, Timothy (Kim) Periard of Nanuet, N.Y., Susan (Tom) Kroyak of Lee, MA, Steven Periard of Ithaca, N.Y., Jason (Tricia) Periard, of Maynardville TN, Pamela (Aramis) Perez of West Coxsackie, N.Y. and Lucretia (Brett) Paulsen of Waterford, N.Y; six grandchildren, Timothy Periard Jr., Tal Periard Barrera, Eric Periard, Asher Periard, Alejandro Perez and Brendan Periard; three brothers, Ronnie, Richie and Jerry Coonrad, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
