Margaret Sherryl Peterson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 14, 2025, in Anderson, South Carolina at the age of 76. Born on April 3, 1949, in Lafayette, Louisiana, Margaret was a bright light in the lives of those she touched.
Margaret dedicated much of her professional life to serving as an Administrative Assistant for seven doctors at Kaiser Permanente.
She received her education from Washington High School in Los Angeles. Margaret had various interests that she cherished deeply; she loved to dance, enjoyed fishing, and had a remarkable talent for cooking. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to spread happiness among her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her loving children, Lisa White and David Brown. Her grandchildren: Sienna Kellett, Alexx Brown, Hunter White, Maisen Brown, Hudson White, Ryker White, and Aubri Brown, a great-grandmother to Haisley Kellett. She is also survived by her sisters, Leaster (Easter) Begnaud and Mary Ann Begnaud.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Agnew and Elvige Marie Begnaud, five brothers and two sisters, who awaited her in peace.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Whitney & Murphey Bueler Mortuary in Chandler, Arizona, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Friends and family will gather for a graveside service at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Funeral Home in Mesa, Arizona, beginning at 11:30 AM.
