Age 76, of Friendship, NY, passed away suddenly on June 23, 2025 at her home.
She was born on October 30, 1948, in Manhattan, NY, daughter of the late Stephen Bucek Sr. Margaret was an avid reader and deeply devoted to her faith in God. She was also very involved in her community and was known for delivering food to anyone who needed it. Margaret was family-oriented most of all though and loved being with her family. Especially the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, James W. Ratigan of Friendship, NY; her children, Michael J. (Missy) Ratigan of Glasgow, Kentucky, David S. (Darcy Simpson) Ratigan of Rochester, Matthew C. Ratigan of Castile, Heather C. (Shane) Scaggs of Gainesville, Meghan A. (Billy) Przysinda of Groveland; her sister, Rose Kane of Rochester; her brother, Stephen C. Bucek Jr.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
No calling hours are scheduled. A memorial service for Margaret will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11 AM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. No burial at this time.
