Margaret Mae (Landrum) Rhoads, age 87 of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday January 23, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 2nd,1937 in New Martinsburg, Ohio to the late William F. and Collace M. (Smith) Landrum. 

Margaret was a graduate of Twin High School, class of 1955 and retiree of Rubbermaid Party Plan Inc. after 10 years of service. She loved spending time with her family, and supporting their activities, camping, cooking, gardening and spending time on the farm.  

She was preceded in death by her loving husband William A. Rhoads after 54 years of marriage, her parents, her sisters Betty Columbus, Helen (John) Smith, and Bertha (Steven) Lytle, and brothers William, Earl and Raymond Landrum; sisters-in-law Jeanie Rhoads and Loretta (Elton T.) Mutter. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Bob) Crowe and Marie (Don) Whitley; grandchildren, Donald William and Christina Whitley and fiancé Carl Stanley, Ryan (Ciara) Crowe, Rachel (Steven) Mallow and Brent (Brandy) Peters; great-grandchildren Lily, Allie, Brody, Brynn, and Molli; brother-in-law, Wayne Rhoads; sister-in law Betty Landrum and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Reverend Tom Rhoads officiating. Interment will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
