Margaret (Eastman) Richardello, 92, of Adams, MA, died peacefully on May 7, 2025, after failing health the past year. She was born on August 15, 1932, in South Gardiner, Maine, to Lorenzo and Emma (Crossman) Eastman. She attended schools there before her family moved to North Adams during her junior year of high school. She graduated from Drury High School in 1949. Marge met her husband, Alfred, on New Year's Eve 1950 when her dad brought him home to meet his youngest daughter. He and Al played many years in a popular area orchestra, and music became an important part of her life. It wasn't a celebration without Al playing the accordion and Margie singing. She loved cribbage and was proud to take a dollar from her competitors right up until her last year of life, even having to play with enlarged playing cards due to very compromised eyesight. She loved cooking and baking and leaves us with many treasured recipes. Marge married Al on November 11, 1950, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. She worked for over twenty-five years as the bookkeeper at Aldo's Paint Store and later many years in the City Clerk's office in North Adams before retiring. After retirement she enjoyed working at the polls for elections in Adams. She and Al moved to Maple Street in Adams in 1992. They attended daily mass at St. Mary's Church in Cheshire where they made many friends. Margaret was predeceased by her husband in 2008, by her brothers Dick and James Eastman and her sister Mary Reinhold. She leaves her daughter, Victoria and partner Gary Wood of Adams, and her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Denise of Naples, Florida. She also leaves her long-time friend and companion, Edwin Wilk of Savoy, along with many nieces and nephews in the area and across the country. Per her request, funeral services were private.
