She was born to Albert and Alice Congdon and was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gene Congdon. She is survived by her sister Pat Anderson, her loving husband Rhandy Rodgers, and her children Brandon, Drew, and Candice.
Margie's life was defined by her love for people and her heart for community. Whether it was gathering family and friends around the table, teaching piano lessons to children, or joyfully transforming her home at Christmas, she found beauty in the moments that brought people together.
Above all, Margie loved Jesus. She faithfully served her church family in countless ways-through Christmas pageants, hosting community groups, and opening her home to young adults in need of a place to belong. Her life was a living testimony of grace, hospitality, and unwavering faith.
A celebration of Margie's life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Believer's Bible Fellowship, 13714 Lookout Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233.
Margie's heart to serve, joyful spirit, and deep faith will continue to inspire and point others to Jesus.
