Margaret T Romero

Margaret "Peggy" T. Romero (nee Klucharits), of Pennsauken, passed away, unexpectedly, on December 28, 2024, at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Romero; the loving mother of Heather Chopak and her husband Ted, Eric Romero and his partner Denise Staffelli, Adam Romero and his wife Tracy, Justin Romero and his wife Marina, and Kristin Romero; the cherished grandmother "G" of Emily, Holly, Casey, Nicholas, Maggie, and Aurora; and the dear sister of Judy Machnik-Gallery. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Romero; her brother, Tommy Klucharits; and her parents, Rudolph and Mary Klucharits.
Peggy's free spirit and heart full of love guided her along her beautiful journey of 75 years, during which time she touched countless lives. She devoted her life to nurturing her family through faith, unselfish love, humility, unconditional kindness, wisdom and a witty sense of humor. Peggy enjoyed creative writing, trips to the beach (especially OBX), watching Jeopardy and WWII movies, musicals, cheering on her children & grandchildren in sports and activities, as well as cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, black labrador retrievers and all of her furry family members throughout the years, listening to oldies, folk music, classic rock and Frank Sinatra, margaritas, holidays (especially Christmas), decorating, shopping, and cooking/ baking
Above all, she cherished spending time with her family: her husband of almost 53 years, six children, their significant others, and especially her six grandchildren to whom she was affectionately known as "G".
It is an honor for those who have known her for a brief time or a lifetime. She was a truly beautiful spirit who has left her mark upon so many hearts. We love you.
Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering in celebration of Peggy's life on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with eulogies at 7:30 p.m., at Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken and to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 43 W. Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
