Margaret Ann Seabolt, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully left this world on Friday, August 22, 2025, at The Brook in West Branch, MI, at the age of 95. Born on October 27, 1929, in Detroit, MI, Margaret's life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She lived in West Branch for the past 5 years formerly of Roseville, MI.
She dedicated herself to being a homemaker and devoted her heart and hands to raising her six beloved children. Margaret found joy in every moment spent nurturing her family. Her unwavering faith led her to read her Bible and devotional daily, offering her strength and guidance throughout her life. Margaret's spirit shone brightly during the winters when she would escape to Florida, embracing the warmth of the sun alongside her loved ones. Her cottage on Lake Ogemaw was a sanctuary of happiness, where countless memories were made.
A woman of many passions, Margaret enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, and restoring furniture. Each stitch and each blossom reflected her creativity and care. Her home was adorned with evidence of her crafting talents, embodying her love for bringing beauty into the everyday.
Margaret's legacy lives on through her loving children: Remi (Kathy) Seabolt of Oxford, Michael (Debbie) Seabolt of West Branch, Patricia (Brad) Olmstead of Florida, Lawrence (Cindy) Seabolt of Florida, and Robert (Carrie) Seabolt of Rochester Hills. She also leaves behind 17 adoring grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren who will carry forward her values, kindness, and love. She is also survived by her siblings Dan (Esther) Aggas, Alice (Joe) Townsend, and Harold Aggas, along with many treasured nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents John and Tillie (Kowalski) Aggas, her beloved husband Remi Seabolt, who left this world in 2001, her daughter Susan DeNolf, and her siblings Clifford Aggas, Evelyn Beck, Gertrude Meek, Ken Aggas, and John Aggas.
Memorial contributions can be made to Compassus Hospice in West Branch, MI.
A graveside service will be held at Clinton Grove Cemetery in Clinton Twp., MI on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
As we remember Margaret Ann Seabolt, we celebrate a life beautifully lived, a heart that loved deeply, and a spirit that will forever inspire. Her enduring legacy of family and faith will continue to guide those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
