Margaret Stulp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by VanderLaan Funeral Home - Hudsonville on Dec. 11, 2025.
Margaret Joy Stulp was born to Fred and Ann Stulp on February 26, 1941, in Cicero, Illinois and she passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 4, 2025, in Wyoming, Michigan.
She attended Timothy Christian schools and graduated from high school in 1959. She and her family attended Warren Park Christian Reformed Church. She went to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a year and then lived in a rural community. She moved back to the Grand Rapids area and spent the rest of her life there.
She worked in a variety of jobs, including retail fashion clerk and janitorial services among other positions. She was known as a dedicated worker who was serious about her job. After retirement, she took up painting, attending many art classes, and also made jewelry.
She was a faithful attender at Eighth Reformed Church in Wyoming. She attended Sunday morning services and always engaged with the message, often commenting to the pastor on what she learned. She attended Bible studies and was a very enthusiastic participant in Wednesday morning coffee and donuts. She was a kind person who was genuinely interested in helping others. She joined the Cortland community in Wyoming and very quickly came to know all the residents. She enjoyed her friends and her family and is survived by her three brothers, Jack (Jan), Martin (Joan), and Fred (Pat), along with eight nephews and nieces, Cindy and Jackie, Kevin, GayEllen, Joy, Keith, Lanae, and Leanne.
A memorial service will be held at Eighth Reformed Church on Thursday, December 18, at 11:00 a.m. The service will also be live streamed on YouTube on the Eighth Reformed Church page.
