York, SC – Mrs. Margaret (Margie) Vaughn Tamson 86, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
A private day of remembrance and celebration of life will be held for the family at a later date.
Mrs. Tamson was a daughter of the late Louis Vaughn and Margaret Lloyd She will forever be remembered as a loving, sweet and caring mother and grandmother. Her family was her world. She loved her husband, Neil John Tamson and missed him greatly after his death in 2015. Their marriage can only be described as a story book love story.
Surviving are her children, Rick Tamson and his wife, Libby, Kenny Tamson and his wife, Debbie, Kevin Tamson and his wife, Susan, Randy Tamson, and Debra Tamson Bonner; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil John Tamson; a brother, Jim Vaughn; and a sister, Jean Sutton.
