Margaret Mary Weir

Margaret Mary Schmeiser Weir passed into the arms of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 4, 2024. Marge was an RN, and throughout her life she was a caregiver to many people. She was mom to 4 children and Grammie to 8 grandkids. Marge touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She was deeply faithful in everyday life.
Oftentimes she attended daily mass at Holy Name of Jesus and she prayed unceasingly. Marge enjoyed reading, the beach, swimming and watching HGTV and Hallmark movies. One of her favorite places to go was Gleason Park. Her routine included walking the paths and then spending time sitting on her favorite bench by the lake. She loved all animals and liked seeing the wildlife at the park. She also enjoyed spending time on her back patio, and she often sat out there talking to loved ones on the phone.
Years ago, when she was being interviewed for a school paper by her oldest granddaughter, Marge said one of the things she wanted people to remember about her was how she loved everyone. She definitely showed her love for humanity in the way she lived her everyday life. We will never forget her love, and she will be missed by many.
