Margaret Zavatsky, 90, passed away on December 29, 2024 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH. Margaret was born on December 12, 1934 in Lafferty, OH to parents William and Katherine (Mackey) Fodor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Fodor
Margaret is survived by Spouse Samuel Zavatsky; Children Samuel Zavatsky JR. and spouse Jamie, Mark Zavatsky and spouse Judy; William Zavatsky (Grandson) and spouse Stacey, Michelle Applegarth (Granddaughter) and spouse Charles, Lauren Zavatsky (Granddaughter), Maxwell Zavatsky (Grandson), Michael Zavatsky ( Grandson), Katie Applegarth (Great Granddaughter), Madison Applegarth (Great Granddaughter), Mary Lou Fodor (Sister-in-Law), Joe Zavatsky (Brother-in-Law) and spouse Karen, Numerous (Nieces and nephews).
Margaret was a Store Manager for Stone & Thomas where she worked for over 45 years and for The Linsly School for over 17 years.
Friends and family will be received at The Harbor of Hope in St. Clairsville, OH on Saturday January 4th 2025 from 12:30 until time of Service at 2 PM.
