Margery Boorse Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home - East Norriton on Aug. 10, 2023.
Obituary of Margery E. Boorse
Margery E. (nee Turner) Boorse, born June 23, 1930, died peacefully in Ambler Extended Care on August 8, 2023. She was 93 years old.
Marge was the widow of John F. Boorse and daughter of Helen (Curry) and Walter G. Turner and lived most of her life in Plymouth Meeting.
While roller skating at Art's Skateland, Conshohocken, Marge met her future husband Johnny. As years went by, they enjoyed drives to the Pocono mountains and always enjoyed finding new places for lunch.
Marge had a love of dogs and at one time she and Johnny had three Lhasa Apso dogs. Years later when Marge needed more help with daily life, she looked forward to her aide and friend, Maria, bringing her dogs to visit.
Marge is survived by her younger sister, Carol Baker, Billings, Montana, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Virginia Galloway.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 10:30 AM followed by the Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.
Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Elmwood Park Zoo, Norristown or a charity of your choice.
