She was born June 20, 1938, in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. Horace Edwin Ragsdale and Mrs. Evelyn Elliott. She was married to Mr. Larry Hazelrigs until his passing in January 2024. She was a customer service representative with Bank of America.
Alongside her parents, Mrs. Hazelrigs is preceded in death by her husband, William "Larry" Hazelrigs.
She is survived by; daughter, Kathy Grosskurth (David); daughter, Karen Lanee Jennings; son, Larry Mark Hazelrigs; grandchildren, Megan Velarde, Andrew Grosskurth, Kimberly Burns Taliaferro (Adam), Allan Baronsky, Kelsey Jennings, Kaley Jennings, Joshua Dane Hazelrigs; great grandchildren, Kennedy Carter, Reed Grosskurth, Rebeka Caldwell (Alex), Hailey Burns, Alex Burns, Colton Burns, Emma Burns, Kinley Burns, Scarlet Burns, Gracie Taliaferro, Robin Hazelrigs, Dante Hazelrigs; other extended family and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hazelrigs be held on Saturday September 13, 2025 at 11:00 A.M at Benson Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Benson Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. to the time of the service at 11:00 A.M.
