Marguerite Elizabeth Katsch Webb

With great love and deep loss, we announce the passing of Marguerite Elizabeth Katsch Webb, a feisty, spirited, funny, loving, and generous woman who left an unforgettable mark on those who knew her. Originally from Florida, she considered the mountains of Western North Carolina her true home, where she built a life surrounded by the beauty of nature.
A seeker of truth and a woman of deep faith, she loved God wholeheartedly and lived with the intention of bringing hope and love to others. She embraced people from all walks of life, always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, and a touch of humor that could lighten any moment. Her sweet and generous heart made her a source of comfort, encouragement, and laughter.
She found joy in nature, hiking the trails she loved so much, and she had a deep passion for reading and teaching. Whether sharing stories, wisdom, or a bit of playful wit, she had a way of making the world feel a little brighter. A resilient woman, she faced many challenges with grace and unwavering faith, proving time and again that strength is found in perseverance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. Webb; her son, Glenn Michael Webb; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Spangler. She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Katsch; her daughter, Kris Spangler; son-in-law, Dennis Spangler; grandson, Denny Spangler; great-grandson, Zack Fraser; daughter, Anne Webb; granddaughter, Zoe Britt; and granddaughter, Mia Britt.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her faith, humor, and unwavering spirit will always be remembered.
