Mari Conliffe Obituary
04/09/1966 - 01/14/2026
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Mari. She passed peacefully at her home in Palm Desert on Wednesday, January 14th.
Mari was born in San Francisco and raised in Burlingame, California. She graduated from Mills High School and began her career in the insurance industry before later transitioning into real estate, working as a realtor in Palm Desert.
Mari loved to travel and cherished time spent at her family home on Catalina Island, which she always said was the best place on earth. She was a devoted animal lover with a special place in her heart for all creatures great and small.
She is survived by her parents, Olivia and Gus Gazis; her husband, Christian Conliffe; her sisters-in-law, Laurie Piscitello (Dan) and Lisann Conliffe; her brothers-in-law, Mitch Conliffe and Brian Conliffe (Debbie); her aunt, Vickie Skolnick; and many nieces and nephews.
Mari will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Services will be held at a later date. In honor of Mari's lifelong love of animals, the family encourages donations to a favorite animal rescue or pets-in-need organization.

I remember taking our girls on a ski trip when they were young teens. Mari and Clifford riding in the back seat. Good times
Mari introduced me to Cosmopolitans one time in Burlingame. Dan and I visited with her in Palm Springs sitting by the pool. It was always fun to be with Mari...Good Memories!

Saddened to hear of Mari's passing. She lived a few doors down and I had hoped to get to know her better. I do know she loved her animals VERY much! My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
