I just learned that my friend, Tom passed away in August 2025. Heavy Heart..sad..
I meant Tom at Serra High School, he sat behind me. He was a beloved team member on our football team; we went to many of the same classes. All good memories. After graduation we lost touch with one another. However, as we became young adults following our 'dreams' we reconnected. Visited over the years, kept in contact with each other via text, phone and email. I have lived in another state but was always drawn to stop by Tom's place for a visit.
Tom was loved by those of us who got the pleasure to know him. He touched my Heart...thank you, Tom. God Bless you and your family.

I was in Toms class from 3rd grade until the 8 th grade. Tom was quiet guy but always nice. I remember at a fall festival I went on the ferris wheel with Tom although I was very afraid of heights. He will be missed by many!

Tom was a truly wonderful person and had a very kind heart. I first met Tom fishing at the lower lake in Mills Estate before any homes were built, that was about 1957 and we became close friends and remained close friends until the day he died. We enjoyed fishing and duck hunting together for many years and I always had a good time with Tom no matter what we did and we did a lot together.I miss you Tom and God bless you.

Although I did not know Tom personally but only through his sister Lorraine, I recognize the beautiful spirit that he was. I extend my condolences to all family and friends.

Tommy,
You are the very best brother any girl could have. You are so kind, gentle, compassionate, generous and warmhearted. I could go on and on describing you with every wonderful word and still would not be enough. You were my first friend, we were playmates. I can still see us on the floor playing checkers, monopoly, climbing trees together, putting black olives on our fingers during holiday dinners and eating them off, one by one, I remember all of it. I was so lucky to have you. You made the world a better place. I know you went straight to heaven and you are there now, receiving eternal rewards you so richly deserve. I am sure you are with your best buddy, John Woodcock, your true brother in every sense and of course, our beloved mom and dad. I will love you and miss you for the rest of my days.
Your Beloved Sister,
Lorraine
