Maria Alfaro Obituary

She was born on October 25, 1962 in Araró, Michoacán, Mexico. The daughter of Guadalupe and Adela (Alvarez) Ortiz. She was employed as a teacher assistant. Maria was a loving wife, mother, and sister who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Eliseo Alfaro; her children, Thomas, Salvador, and Abigail Alfaro; and her seven siblings Sylvia, Jose, Hilda, Elizabeth, Rosisela, Olga, and Eulalia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Adela Ortiz.
Friends may visit from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 N. Bridge St., Yorkville, IL.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 406 Walnut St., Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums, 7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458.
