Rebecca Komes Obituary

She was a graduate of Sandwich High School, class of 2003. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America for 35 years and achieved the gold award her senior year.
Rebecca was employed for many years as a sales assistant at Senoplast USA where she enjoyed spending time with her work family. She was a long-time member of Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, Il. Rebecca was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for being a sweet person and the very best aunt.
She is survived by her father Michael Komes of Somonauk, IL, her siblings, David Komes of Pontiac, IL, Timothy Komes of Amboy, IL, Peter (Amy) Komes of Waterman, Il, as well as her nieces, Savannah and Taylor Komes and her nephew Jaxson Komes.
Rebecca was proceeded in death by her mother, Judy Komes and her uncle Bobby Komes.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at Cross Lutheran Church, 8609 Route Il 47, Yorkville, Il.
Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, Il. Interment to follow in Cross Lutheran Church Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, Il.
