Elizabeth C. Alfaro, lovingly known as Liz, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Sugar Hill, Georgia, at the age of 49. She was born on August 30, 1975, in Dover, New Jersey, to Judith Medelo and the late Edward Medelo. Liz is survived by her devoted husband, Shane Alfaro, and their two children, Zackary Alfaro and Natalia Alfaro. She is also survived by her mother, Judith Medelo; her brothers, Edward Medelo Jr. and Michael Medelo; and her sister-in-law, Kelley Medelo. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Alain Alfaro, and her sister-in-law, Nancy Alfaro. Liz also leaves behind her beloved dog, Brutus, who brought her endless comfort and joy, as well as her cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom adored her deeply. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Medelo, and her beloved grandmother, Esther Gladstone, whom she loved dearly and held close to her heart. Throughout her life, Liz embraced many passions, including animals, off-roading, boating, and arts and crafts. She was a caring, loving, and kind person whose honesty and beauty shone both inside and out. With her outgoing nature and vibrant spirit, she had a gift for bringing joy to others, never failing to make those around her laugh. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Flanigan's Funeral Home.
