Maria Allen Obituary
Loli, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.
Preceding her in death are her devoted and loving husband, Malcolm B. "Bud" Allen, her daughter Cynithia L. McKenzie, her first cousin and devoted friend Nanette Rebushatt, her parents, and her and her parent's in-law, Ernest Wayne Allen and Fenoy Hall Allen.
Survivors include her daughter Teresa Allen, former son-in-law Jon Mckenzie and his with Lynn, and three grandchildren, Robert McKenzie and his wife Camilla, Allison Blackburn and her husband, Adam, and Kelly Authur and her husband, Jason, two great-grandchildren, A. J. and Jacob Blackburn, and three lifelong, best friends Marianne Schumank, Elfi Owen, and Norman Sprinz.
Visitation will be held on December 22, 2025, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Lane Funeral Home – Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace, (423) 877-3524. Immediately following she will be interned with her husband, Malcolm B. Allen, at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
Pastor Jamie Vannoy of Trinity Lutheran Church will be officiating.
