Maria Brems Obituary
Esther, 80, passed away October 28th, 2024, peacefully surrounded by family and her husband, Tom. Esther was the heart of her family, she touched so many lives. Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister, Wife, and Friend to so many, she was always there for the good times and bad times for anyone who needed her. She will be dearly missed by everyone, but her unconditional love, awesome sense of humor, and good heart will live on in all those she left behind.
Esther was preceded in death by her mom, Carolina Vigil Gonzales; dad, Encarnacion Gonzales; brothers, Gilbert and Ernie Gonzales; sisters, Dora Martinez and Virgina Olaque; and first husband, Arthur Morfin.
She is survived by her 2nd husband, Thomas Vin Brems; brothers, Robert and Julian Gonzales; sisters, Ida Martinez and Viola Gabaldon; sons Phillip (Denise) Morfin, Andrew Morfin, Chon (Crystal) Morfin, Isaac (Ashley) Morfin, Jake (Cherie) Morfin; and daughter, Tammy (Troy) Morfin; stepdaughter, Kim Brems; and stepson, Tommy Brems; 26 grandkids and 13 great grandkids.
Funeral Services:
Viewing from 6-8pm, Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 at Peel Funeral Home. 8525 W. Magna Main St. Magna, UT.
Viewing 10am followed by mass at 11am, Wednesday, November 6th at Our Lady of Lourdes in Magna. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park at 12:30pm.
Catered luncheon following the interment at Munequitos Event Center, 2596 W. 4700 S., West Valley City, UT 84119
