Maria Campos Morales, born on January 15, 1939, in Reynosa, Mexico, peacefully passed away on April 8, 2025, in Arlington, Texas. A beloved matriarch and friend to many, Maria's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her vibrant, joyful spirit.
She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. She truly loved cooking for the family. She was always there supporting the family through many adventures and tribulations that came their way. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Family time was everything to her and she was everything to her family.
Maria was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Augustin Morales, who shared a lifelong partnership filled with love and respect. She is reunited with her son, Augustin Morales Jr., and her loving daughter, Gloria A. Rivera. The bond that Maria nurtured with her children was profound; she was always their biggest supporter, guiding them through life's adventures and tribulations.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters Maria E. Morales, Maria Pecina, Janie Scarlett Morales, Magdalina Valerio, Dora A. Morales, Ema Rodriguez, Tina Morales Vasquez, and Lina Morales; her sons Rodolfo Juan Morales, Adan Morales, Jose Luis Morales, Rodolfo Juan Morales Jr. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
With a personality that radiated warmth, Maria found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She relished playing bingo and enjoyed her visits to the casino, where laughter and excitement filled the air. Her true passion, however, was cooking. Maria loved preparing meals for her family, creating an inviting space where memories were made over shared dishes and heartfelt conversations. Family was everything to Maria, and she dedicated her life to ensuring their happiness and well-being.
Maria Campos Morales will be remembered for the love she shared and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who knew her. A memorial service will be held in her honor on April 12, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her remarkable life and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
